Meditation: GUIDED SILENT
The teacher will guide you into silence by teaching you a simple breath technique and/or silent mantra.
In this class you will be guided through a variety of breath techniques.
Practicing pranayama (breath) helps to calm the mind, increase focus, balance the nervous system, expand lung capacity, increase relaxation, reduce anxiety and depression, and increase vitality.
In this class you will be guided through an out lout mantra practice.
In mantra you use your voice to create a healing vibration in the mind and body. Mantra helps to focus the mind, decrease stress, increase endorphins, and balance the brain.
Kriya’s are repetitive movements, mantra and/or breath practices that impact your being on the level of the mind, body and energy. In this class you will guided through a Kriya set with a specific focus. For example, there are sets to calm the nervous system, awaken the heart and to ground energy. Benefits include: balancing the brain, decreasing stress/anxiety, uplifting energy, and shifting consciousness. The greatest knowing comes from experience so come on out and try it!
In this class you will come sit together in a group in silence.
This will be an opportunity for you to feel the power of meditating in a group setting without any noise or words from the teacher.
Ideal for the student who has a meditation practice already but needs support in staying consistent.
